About
In the summer of 2017, I began to create a natural environment for the children in my care. My journey started outdoors when I chose to have my program Nature Explore Certified. I made changes to my outdoor environment that incorporated natural elements and connected kids to nature. Soon after I took an online training that completely changed the way I looked at my indoor program. In January 2018, I began the transformation and continue to create, inspire and connect my kids with nature.
My Journey
My early childhood journey started in 1995 as a preschool teacher in a childcare center. In 1998 I opened my own family childcare program. I created this website to show the changes I have made to my environment as a result of continued education, research and professional development.
I will share through pictures and provide descriptions of my environment.
