Alphabet Rocks – I wanted to find rocks that were flat and that were big enough so they wouldn’t be considered a choking hazard. So while walking through Menards, I found these awesome rock backsplashes.

Step 1: Remove the rocks from the mesh

Step 2: Place the rocks in boiling water to remove the glue. I used an old pan and boiled them until the glue was soft enough to remove. (This was time consuming, but the rocks were smooth on both sides once completed).

Step 3: Allow the rock to dry thoroughly.

Step 4: Write on the letters with a sharpie marker. (You could use stickers and decoupage them on, if you don’t like your writing)

I also found these great little wooden pieces at Hobby Lobby that were the perfect size. I once again used a sharpie marker to write the letters of the kids names, so that they could match the letters of their names. It's a great way to help introduce kids to the letters of their name.
