How to Make a Stable Floor for the Block Area

While my carpet is not super fluffy, it was an uneven and wobbly play area for the children for block play. I had seen many Pinterest posts showing how to build a platform by using wooden palettes. I decided to come up with an easier version, that would require no tools.
You need a flat board (Mine was 8 X 8 and then I purchased another one that was 4 X 8 to make it bigger)

Be sure you find one that is not warped. I used a natural colored duct tape to tape the two boards together. And then I taped all along the edges to prevent splinters.

I then used self sticky tiles on top. I believe they were 2 X 2 tiles, and because of the size of the board, I didn't have to cut tiles to fit. That's it. Just used boards, duct tape and sticky tiles.

Once all the tiles were laid, I made sure to walk all over it making sure each one was stuck down. That's it. And no tools were required.
In the very first picture, you will notice the board looks a little smaller. It's because I removed the 4 X 8 section because it was bigger than what I wanted in my new space.
