In the summer of 2017 I began to create a natural environment for the children in my care. My journey started outdoors when I decided to have my program Nature Explore Certified. I made changes to my outdoor environment and included natural elements. I began adding materials that would connect kids with nature. Soon after I took an online training that completely changed the way I looked at my indoor program. In January 2018, I began the transformation and continue to create, inspire and connect my kids with nature.
My Journey
My journey started 20 years ago when I began providing child care in my home. For the purpose of this website, you will see my transformation for the past 10 years (as I do not have digital pictures to share from the first home in which I started daycare). I decided I wanted to share how the environment has changed over the past 10 years. I will share pictures and give descriptions of my environment.
